I Put A Spell On You
I put a spell on you. Because you're mine.
Stop the things you do. Watch out! I ain't lyin'.
Yeah! I can't stand no runnin' around.
I can't stand no puttin' me down.
I put a spell on you. Because you're mine.
Oh yeah! Whoa! Whoa!
Stop the things you do. Watch out! I ain't lyin'.
Oh! Oh!
I love you! I love you! I love you!
Anyhow...I don't care if you don't want me.
I'm yours right now.
I put a spell on you. Because you're mine.
Mine! Mine!
Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! You're mine!

Autumn, Merry Mabon!
Despite the havoc ragweed wreaks on my allergies, fall [autumn] is my favorite season. i found a poem that Helen Keller composed for one of her mentors, Alexander Graham Bell. Ms.Keller's imagery is nothing short of awe inspiring, when you consider this is a person who was blind and deaf since infancy. Her words speak so eloquently of the feelings this season brings. Merry Mabon!

boundless ardor ~ for julian dana william mcmahon
Saturday January 26th 2008, G'Day USA honored several of Australia's native daughters and sons. The one that commanded the most attention from the media was of course Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon. i covered the event and spoke briefly with the star. i will publish the details of the event within the next few days at In A Lather. Meantime, a few weeks ago the muse inspired me to compose the tribute below.
from australia hails
mcmahon,julian.
g'donya mate
with those eyes cerulean.
from the nape of your neck
to the tips of your toes
the sheilas adore you
fully dressed or unclothed.
such energy you bring
when you enter the room!
as yourself, or as alters
troy, turner, grant,
hanson, plato, or doom.
born to nobility
yet, your ethic is proletarian.
let's all hoist a VB
to our favorite rapscallion!
